Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range and amid cotton fields and fresh water springs, the Blue Springs Manor at Vincent is approximately six miles from the St. Clair River and the Old Baker Farm, featuring a pumpkin patch, hay maze, petting zoo and pony rides. Wine tasting is available less than seven miles from the bed and breakfast at the Morgan Creek Vineyards. The Meadows Golf Course is less than eight miles away.
Features. The Blue Springs Manor at Vincent features a French Country setting, including natural landscaping preserved for walking and hiking. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the Red Rooster Dining Hall on mahogany tables imported from India. Weather permitting, breakfasts are served outside on one of the verandas. Lunches, dinners and picnics are available for a fee. The conference room, available for a fee, is furnished with black, Old English tables and seating for 15 in high back leather chairs. The 10 acre grounds offer a pitching and putting green and a regulation size croquet lawn. The foyer features double French doors and leads to the Charlie Horse Parlor with fireside seating. Blue Spring Branch, a creek fed by fresh artesian springs, is located behind the bed and breakfast and features benches and bridges. Spa services are available for a fee and include mineral baths, spa treatments and use of the outdoor pool and hot tub.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature cable television, VCRs, Internet service and private bathrooms. The Sunset Suite, located on the third floor, offers views of the courtyard, front lawn, fresh water spring and sunset from the windows on three sides of the room. The private bathroom features a jetted tub with separate shower. The room offers a sitting area, and a dining area with a high top table and stools.
