The Cocoa Beach pier, originally built in 1962, runs a nice long path across the Atlantic and is filled with many shops, eateries, and things to do and see. Fishing is allowed off of the pier or you can simply just go up and watch the people enjoying some fishing waiting for the big catch!

Come enjoy the history of Cocoa Beach, a town that was discovered in June of 1925. The first settlers were actually a slave family that was freed after the war. By 1939, Cocoa Beach was considered growing and had 49 people living there. In 1957, cocoa Beach became a city and a school was built soon thereafter in 1965.
Some things about Cocoa Beach that you may not know is that the 1960s show, I Dream of Jeannie, was actually filmed there when Jeannie was married, and the 2000 film Race to Space was filmed there as well utilizing the Cocoa Beach High School!
