| | | Location. The Sunset Cove Resort & Suites is located one half mile from Tigertail Beach in the city center of Marco Island, Fla. The marina walk, located behind the resort, connects to The Esplanade, which contains shopping, entertainment and a convention center less than two miles away.
| | Features. This family friendly resort occupies a seven story building positioned on the Rio waterway. Dining is available at the resort's Park Avenue Grille, and the Waterfalls Lounge, which boasts an indoor and outdoor section, serves beer and wine from late morning to late night. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel, and a complimentary computer station is available in the lobby. Business services are provided for a fee. Sunset Cove Resort & Suites offers a waterfront barbeque and promenade area, fitness center, freeform outdoor pool with a sundeck and hot tub, and a marina with boat rentals. Bicycles and beach chairs are available. Resort services include shuttle service to the beach, room service, concierge services and dry cleaning service. Babysitting can be arranged through the hotel for a fee. Pets are not allowed.

Kitchens are equipped with seamless Corian countertops, microwave ovens, refrigerators, dishes and cookware. All guest accommodations include plasma televisions with cable channels, Bose "Wave" stereos and DVD players. Beds are made with 300 thread count sheets. All units feature screened in lanais with water views. Washers and dryers are included.
| | Expert Tip. Tigertail Beach, the closest beach to the resort, offers a playground, snack bar, butterfly garden and watercraft rentals, including kayaks and paddleboats. It is a popular spot for bird watching and for walking along the shoreline.
