Clarion Lauderdale Beach Resort is located at the north end of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in the charming seaside village of Lauderdale by the Sea. The beach across the street is one of the widest in the area and offers sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling. There are a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, lounges, specialty stores and boutiques a short walk away from the resort. The Clarion Lauderdale Beach Resort offers consists of three buildings, with the five story main building housing the front desk, cocktail lounge, and Damon's Grill & Clubhouse Lounge, which is known for its ribs and features four big screen televisions. Damon's Beach Bar, housed in the beachside building, offers more casual dining. Meeting and event space with catering is available for business and special events, and the hotel now offers complimentary wireless Internet access. A large pool and sundeck are set between the hotel's main building and the ocean, and are complemented by a children's wading pool.
The efficiency and one bedroom suites at Clarion Lauderdale Beach Resort feature kitchens with microwave ovens, coffeemakers and refrigerators. Cable televisions, two line telephones, and work desks are included. Rooms have pool, ocean or partial ocean views.
Renovation Notice: This hotel will be undergoing extensive renovations, during which time the main building will be closed due to significant noise which will be caused by jackhammers (heavy work to be completed by late September 2006.
